Bruce Brownlee serves as President and founder of Bruce Brownlee Company. Since founding the company, he has led establishment of SEO, PPC, and Web Development practices for the company, and served as principal analyst for several key customer projects.
Mr. Brownlee draws on a 35-year software engineering and web development career that spans 22 industries. He starting building and promoting web sites in 1997, when adding a few keywords to web pages and submitting pages to directories was sufficient to gain top ranking. As a web site publisher, he brings first-hand knowledge and experience with Google Adsense™, Google Adwords™, Google Analytics™, and Yahoo Search Marketing® tools.
Prior to Bruce Brownlee Company, Mr. Brownlee served as a senior consultant for EMC Corporation. Mr. Brownlee provided project management and technical implementation leadership for cable, mobile advertising, and media initiatives for both Cox Communications and AT&T Mobility in Atlanta, as well as The Travel Channel in Washington DC. This included a successful program to separate The Travel Channel from the Discovery Channel (Discovery Communications) and to build a new desktop, media logistics chain, and web presence for The Travel Channel.
Before EMC, Mr. Brownlee served as R&D Manager for the Word Processing Division of Lotus Development, publishing several titles including Samna Word Pro, HP AdvanceWrite, Amí, Amí Pro, and Lotus Word Pro in twenty national language markets. Bruce also served as Vice President of Development for Blackstone & Cullen, which supported BellSouth and the CIO Council, State of Georgia. Mr. Brownlee helped with the establishment of Georgia Technology Authority where Mr. Brownlee later served as a senior enterprise architect before joining EMC.
Mr. Brownlee holds a BS Cutler Program (math and EE) and MS Industrial & Systems Engineering from Ohio University, and continued post-graduate studies at Georgia Tech.
