Staggered match times and tournament sanctioning to make this count as one recruiting event drew 120 women's and 165 men's college coaches in 2007. 3 days of matches. The Virginian - Memorial Day weekend tournament sponsored by Springfield Youth Club. Covers boys and girls, U9-U19. Offers 4 divisions of play and guarantees 4 games. Last year hosted 600 teams from 15 states and Canada. See Permission to Host Form. Just outside Washington DC, so there's a lot to do and see, with plentiful amenities. | |

Gothia Cup - Gothenburg, Sweden. One of the most popular tournaments in Europe. Usually plays a week prior to Dana Cup. 13-19 July 2008. | |

Dana Cup - Hjorring, Denmark, the week after the Gothia Cup each year, usually late July. This is one of the largest youth tournaments in the world. Teams play several matches, and are then sorted into new flights for single elimination play. 21-26 July 2008. | |

USA Cup - A European style tournament like the Dana Cup. Mid summer. A bit expensive. Offering two separate tournaments- a weekend event and a weeklong event. 10-13 July 2008 for the weekend event, and 15-19 July 2008 for the weeklong event. |
